On Sunday the students from our school and the students from the Praedinius Gymnasium from the Netherlands arrived at Valley Park school at 11:30 pm, after a plane and a bus trip, where our hosts welcomed us.

On Monday we went to school at 08:40 am. After a short welcome from the principal of the school, we had a tour of school with the hosts. After that we heard the presentations from the others and presented our presentations. In the afternoon Toyota and IBM came to our school and told us something about hydrogen cars and other things.

Tuesday was probably the most exciting day, because we went to London. We went there by bus, which left at 09:00 am.

First we drove with the London Eye and learned something about the city. After that we walked from Southbank to St James Park. There we had our packed lunches. At 02:30 pm we visited the London Transport Museum and after that we drove with the Thames Clipper and the Emirates Cable Car. At 07:15 pm we had dinner at Frankie & Benny´s at the O2.

Like Tuesday Wednesday was a lot of walking too. We went to Canterbury, where we had a Canterbury guided tour and some free time after that. The sightseeing tour was pretty cool, we saw the Cathedral from Canterbury, which is one of the oldest and most famous Christian buildings in England.

On Thursday and Friday we worked on our project, an electric buggy. Thursday was the Designing and on Friday we did the Building. On Thursday we had to plan and design our buggy and the charging station. Every group had different designs and it was very cool. Also on Thursday we had an Google VR lesson, which was exciting and a lot of fun. On Friday, after the building process, we had the race. I think it was cool for everybody. After the program some students went bowling without the teachers, which was a lot of fun and a great close for this week.

Sadly it was time to say Goodbye on Saturday to our host families. For me it was an amazing week, which I will never forget and I think for everybody else it was great too.
